Identity theft and fraud are serious crimes. A criminal who steals personal information can inflict a lot of damage in a hurry - all in your name. The effects of identity theft can be overwhelming for victims and their families.

The Beaverton Police Department offers free assistance to guide victims through important steps to help protect and restore their credit. Our victims' assistance program is provided by trained police volunteers. Once a police report has been filed, volunteers contact victims to provide information on resources and answer questions. For more information on this program, please call (503) 526-2546.
